The group reorganises its activities into three business units: Living Resorts, Travels and Services
In January, we announced that we were starting to divide the activities of our entire travel value chain into three business units: Living Resorts, for our hotel, residential and golfing activities, under the Bahia Principe brand; Travels, for the Soltour tour operator and Coming2 reception brands; and Services, which groups together other services at the destinations, such as sustainable transport inside the complexes, marketing electric vehicles and audio-visual services, among others.
With these changes, on which we worked in 2017, we are organising our range of services in order to strengthen each of the brands and the synergies between them, and to help our customers to understand them.
According to Isabel Piñero, Vice-President of Marketing and Communication for Grupo Piñero, “Grupo Piñero is constantly growing. We are facing new challenges in which a strong brand is essential. That is why we took on this project. It is based on one essential fact that makes us different and shows our importance in the market, and that understands the family to be inclusive; to be an attitude and a structure, and not just bloodlines. Under the concept of ‘family is an attitude’, over 15,000 professionals are working every day to bring this promise to life and pass it on to our customers.”
Bahia Principe is now organising its activities into three divisions: Hotels & Resorts, Residences and Golf
Within the Living Resorts business unit, Bahia Principe will now be organised as three sub-divisions: Hotels & Resorts, which will manage the ‘All Inclusive’ hotel activities; Residences, which will take care of residential activities and enrich the offerings of some of its complexes; and Golf, which is responsible for the wholly owned golf courses on the Riviera Maya (Mexico) and in La Romana (Dominican Republic).
