A key team in implementing digital projects at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts


Given its importance and Grupo Piñero's commitment to digital transformation, we feel we really should present the Digital Guest Experience team.

Our teams can be found at all Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts destinations, and ensure that the technology we make available to our guests functions properly at all times.

In their daily work, then, they supervise the proper performance of digital services and devices that interact with customers: Wi-Fi service, piped music, screen and WebApp functionality; conducting tests, checking content and training co-workers from other departments, who provide support and considerable customer-facing assistance: PR departments, reception and/or concierge services, along with others.

In short, they provide a great deal of support in hotel operations in all aspects connected with digital services, and so are in constant contact with the maintenance, entertainment and quality departments, hotel management, housekeepers, IT, marketing, food and drink, purchasing, public relations, reception… working hand-in-hand with them to ensure that customers enjoy a quality digital experience.

Shinae Reid Williams – Jamaica
We are breaking down barriers and "discovering high tech" in tourism for Bahia Principe. Meanwhile, the more we can do digitally, the more we help save the environment. For example: less paper used for check-in, promotions on screen, via the WebApp, etc.

Ana Pescador – Dominican Republic
Digital transformation is a way to communicate, share and interact with customers, and has become a key element in company competitiveness, given the importance of new technologies and the need to adapt to change.

I speak for all three of us in saying that we feel we are the ears on the ground at the destinations for any digital project that is to be implemented or undertaking. We help implement projects, ensure they work well, address possible upgrades, and in general monitor processes so as to improve and adapt to current needs.

Ione Acosta – Tenerife
At Bahia Principe we need to be in step with digital evolution. Our responsibility for supervising and guaranteeing the proper functionality of digital platforms makes us an important element in continuous development and improvement.

Our colleagues not only coordinate projects at the destinations with the aforementioned teams, but are also responsible for the Online Reputation and INFO areas, key elements in digital customer contact.
