The department at the Bahia Principe Jamaica Resort is divided into three areas that complement each other perfectly:
• The Online Reputation area is in charge of introducing the services to future guests. They evaluate and manage the post-stay surveys and summaries on TripAdvisor, Google, etc.
• The Quality Control area helps all the departments to review the areas and services used by our guests in order to identify where there are opportunities for improvement.
• The Customer Service area follows up on complaints and post-stay criticisms, tracks the number of incidents and shares them with the other departments for their continuing improvement.
An example of teamwork
It is essential for all colleagues to help each other so as to make the work less stressful since some processes involve negative comments from customers, operational errors and complaints, which are solved through teamwork.
"Every e-mail, complaint, audit, comment on social media and incidents involving customers is a challenge. We must know just how to delegate incidents without affecting the motivation of Operations" explained Abigail Robles, Quality Manager at the Bahia Principe Jamaica Resort. "We try every day to be that silent friend who wants to give advice to and guide the departments according to the standards" she said.
