Stefanie Berk, General Manager of Thomas Cook Germany on the Riviera Maya, handed an award to the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum and Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal hotels

This accolade from Thomas Cook comes following the nomination for the Sunny Heart 2017 awards in the Africa, Caribbean and Latin America category, to recognise the best hotels in the world's leading destinations, based on two criteria:

- the opinions of 500 thousand customers classified as a Net Promoter Score (NPS) indicating their willingness to give a rating;

- the internal sales ratings throughout Germany: the employees of 5,000 travel agencies voted for the 430 hotels selected, deciding and explaining their choice on objective grounds.

Paola Sastre, Director of the Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal hotel and Sergio Tomás Serrano, Director of the Grand Bahia Principe Tulum hotel, received the award on the premises of the complex itself, both agreeing that the constant efforts of their colleagues and this type of accolade are the result of the work they perform every day for the benefit of our guests.
