The signing of this agreement with PGA America for Mexico will boost and position us in the American market

Our Bahia Principe Golf team is at the PGA Show in Orlando, where the signing of this deal was announced today in a ceremony where the PGA's CEO and its Chief Innovation Manager were present. A reception was held with the presence of PGA partners like CBS or executives from Omega, among others. A number of golf legends were also in attendance. The host of the ceremony was Jim Nantz, the legendary announcers of the Masters in Augusta and the Superball.  

The partnership with PGA of America will reinforce our position in the American market along one of the most powerful brand names in the industry. PGA of America has 29,000 members and is the world's most important sports organisation.  

According to Jaime Sitjar, Managing Director of Bahia Principe Residences & Golf: “This agreement reinforces our strategy of continuing to create exciting experiences for our clients, and also contributes to strengthening our commitment to the golf segment and to the growth of this sport in our destinations, as well as to positioning our brand in the American market. In addition, as of December 2020 we will be extending this alliance with the PGA to our facilities in the Dominican Republic.”
