Our colleagues marked the day with a charity initiative that involved… working!

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Jamaica, in partnership with the Jamaican hotel and tourism association, provides a range of services for the St Ann's Bay Hospital.

During the day they worked with staff from more than 10 different departments. They all came together to help the hospital in such tasks as cleaning, painting and maintenance of different areas: they installed fans, painted the laundry room and the exterior of the lobby area, smartened up the maternity and x-ray areas… and, in short, helped out with all that was needed.

It was a wonderful day, with smiles and energy all round. Hence the gratitude that staff, patients and the general public at the hospital gave for our valuable contribution, according to Shinae Reid-Williams, In-house Marketing / Digital Guest Experience Manager, Jamaica.
