Today we are celebrating, because we are one big family
Today-is-our-day.
Our concept of family means more than whether or not your name is Piñero.
Everyone makes up the group's family, as our generous understanding of the concept includes everyone who shares our ideas and wishes to make their contribution.
We spend more time together than we do with our actual relatives.
We have numerous shared projects in common.
We share values, ways of thinking, or not, and that enriches us.
We treat one another with sincerity, respect, closeness, affection…
"We are like a family"
Don’t you think so?

International Day of Families is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year, since it addresses a fundamental element of society's bedrock, social and cultural ties are built up, identifying us as a family company not in terms of blood relations, but because we believe that family is an attitude, an emotional state, a way of connecting people with one another, with the shared goal of being happy and making others happy.
Within this context, the Human Resources department invited the whole family at Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort to take part in the My Family Got Talent competition at the Clubhouse of the Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an hotel, where the different departments at the complex showed off their artistic and dramatic skills before a thrilled audience and first-rate judges.
All the participants had the chance to showcase their talents by performing, reciting, singing and dancing, with the sole aim of strengthening the professional and emotional ties that bind us together. Gente Bien, Los Demory, K'Imack'Oolal, Lol Beer, Ritmo-Sabor y Pasión, La Gorda y La Flaca, Los Audaces, Los Hernández, The Real Rap and Gommy Lovers were the teams competing to be the most talented family on stage.
For their part the judges of the event, Lorena Herrasti, Creative Director at Marketina, Daymara Juárez, Choreographer of Grupo Milenio, Tania Andrade, Deputy Director of Entertainment, and Michel Castrejón, Designer of Grupo Milenio, appraised such elements as the costumes, performance, stagecraft and originality of the entries.
The winners of My Family Got Talent were: Third place for the Sian Ka'an concierge department, K'Imack'Oolal, with a traditional Jarana Yucateca dance; second place for Lol Beer, made up of members of the Sian Ka'an entertainment department, and sound, who performed a song and dance number; and first prize went to Gommy Lovers, from the Coba entertainment department, whose street music with a rap rhythm got the audience up on their feet.
We would like to offer our warmest congratulations to all our colleagues for pouring their talent into this memorable event!
