We donated school kits for 60 children and shared a fun day with them

Social and solidarity actions are news we love to share with you.

This time around, the target was in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. Every year, a solidarity race is organised to celebrate World Health Day at all the destination's hotels, and in particular at the Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo. All the proceeds go to help those who need it most.

This year, the Lidia´s Kids Foundation in Las Terrenas was chosen as the beneficiary of the proceeds. School supplies were purchased to donate to these low-income children. Backpack kits, notebooks and coloured pencils were given to some 60 children, who, in addition to receiving them with great enthusiasm, were able to enjoy a day of entertainment with our staff, led, of course, by Parrot and Monkey.

There was dancing, games and various activities, with the support of our colleagues at A and B, who prepared muffins and snacks for the children.

Both the kids and their parents showed their warmest gratitude and enjoyed the generosity of our team.
